Dad (Papa Garry) had back surgery on July 23rd and knee surgery after a bit of recovery time. All of this means time off for at least 6 weeks for Dad, and a bit of time off for Mom (Momma Linn / Grammy) to help take care of him. This also means a loss of pay. Dad’s last paycheck will be 8/3. It’s being suggested that he does not go back to driving tow truck after recovery.

Mom and Dad have extended their hearts and homes many times to all of us through the years. They’ve prayed for us, been there for us as a shoulder to cry on or just an ear to listen, and always have been willing to do whatever is in their power to do.

Now, in their time of need, I’d like to raise enough to meet their monthly needs, as well as helping them meet the needs of financially covering what the insurance companies won’t pay towards their medical/recovery bills. Anything above and beyond those needs will be put into helping with repairs to their house; as to help relieve some of that burden as well.

I know that even if all the people that our family has touched throughout the years could donate even just $5, we’ll meet our goal and top it!

And, if we meet our goal and people want to donate more, we can work together to make that happen as well. (Please private message me for private donations)

Due to the fees that FB collects to process the donations, there was not quite as much deposited to the account as the page showed.

Let’s show Mom and Dad some love and appreciation for 40+ years of giving of themselves to others and help them in their time of need!
